Our Story
Three Generations of Hall
Hall Electric started in 1954 as a family electrical business in Victoria, Texas. Over the decades, we grew. We added lighting. Then furniture. Then home décor. Today, Hall Lighting & Design Center is a 12,000 square foot showroom that people drive hours to visit.
But some things haven’t changed.
We’re still family-owned. The values my parents instilled in me are the same values we live by today: treat every customer with respect, stand behind what you sell, and never act like you’re better than the person walking through your door.

Victoria isn’t Houston. It isn’t Austin. We knew that when we built this showroom.
We also knew that if we wanted to survive, we’d have to give people a reason to drive here. So we built something worth driving to. A 12,000 square foot showroom with inventory you won’t find at big-box stores. Statement pieces you can’t appreciate from a website. And a team that knows what they’re doing.
People come from 90 miles away. Some come from further. When they walk through the door, they stop and stare. That’s the reaction we built this place for.
The People Behind the Showroom
A Team That Stays
Most of our staff have been here a long time. That’s not an accident.
Our team includes specialists certified by the American Lighting Association. They know fixture sizing, Kelvin temperatures, finish matching, and how to help you avoid expensive mistakes. More importantly, they’re patient. They’re kind. They’ll never make you feel dumb for asking questions.
They’ve helped hundreds of families build and furnish their homes. Chances are, they’ll remember you when you come back.
Stacey Flowers
Stacey Flowers is a graduate of Southwest Texas State University with a degree in business. Stacey returned to the family business in 1998 after working for Procter and Gamble. As a second generation co-owner, Stacey oversees all aspects of the showroom side of the business. Her business knowledge has helped to launch the showroom into the largest lighting showroom in South Texas. Her supervision insures that the future is bright at Hall Lighting.
Jill Ross
Jill Ross, our showroom manager, is a Victoria native and has been a member of the Hall Lighting family since 2006. She comes from a family of builders with her grandfather, father, uncles and husband all being in the building business here in Victoria. Through the years, her position has evolved and she now leads our sales team, showroom activities and marketing.
Melissa Schindler
Melissa Schindler is a vivacious design consultant who specializes in lighting. She is an American Lighting Association Certified Lighting Specialist, Born and raised in Victoria, Melissa has a penchant for taking on the most challenging projects. Dedicated to making a house your home, Melissa brings out your creativity in your project’s design, whether it is transitional, rustic, contemporary, or traditional. Melissa has been a member of the Hall Lighting family since 2005.
Blanca Barnette
Blanca Barnette joined our team in 2016. Blanca is an American Lighting Association Certified Lighting Specialist, Blanca will work with you, helping you to make the perfect selections for your needs, style and budget, whether it is for an accent lamp, or a remodel, or a whole new construction project.
Gloria Benavides
Gloria is the newest member of the Hall Lighting family. As receptionist, she is the first face you will see when you visit, and most likely, the one you will speak to when you call. Gloria is a born and raised native of Victoria and we are lucky to have her on board.

When you buy lighting from us, Hall Electric’s licensed electricians can handle the installation. One team understands your entire project from start to finish. No miscommunication between where you bought it and who installs it.
